Anne Ashworth is a property and finance writer, commentator and consultant. She is a regular contributor to the property and financial sections of the Daily Mail, and a columnist at The London Magazine. While at The Times, she edited two award-winning parts of the newspaper: Bricks & Mortar, covering property and interiors, and Times Money, the personal finance section, with its focus on mortgages, investments and pensions. In both roles she provided a broad range of print and digital content, including comment pieces, reports and features, while also being responsible for editorial direction and design on all platforms.


Anne regularly reviews the newspapers on The Papers, the twice-nightly live show on the BBC News channel. She has also been a regular member of the panel on The Times Red Box political podcast. Her regular radio work includes the newspaper review on the Vanessa Feltz BBC Radio London breakfast show. Other experience includes ITV’s This Morning, BBC TV Budget coverage and LBC.


Anne is a highly experienced panel chair, having led fringe sessions at the Conservative and Labour party conferences on behalf of housing associations, trade bodies, charities and professional associations with a broad range of participants including government ministers. Her corporate work includes panels at summits for the luxury property industry and the luxury goods sector.
